Mrs. Tracy Wootton returns to the staff of North Branford Intermediate School for the 2023/2024 school year, in the role of Assistant Principal.

Mrs. Wootton has served the North Branford Public Schools for nearly thirty years in many roles and capacities, which have included Mathematics Teacher at NBHS, NBHS Technology Coordinator, NBPS Technology Resource Specialist, NBHS Data Team/Data Coordinator for Special Projects, NBHS Mathematics Coordinator, NBPS 6-12 Mathematics Curriculum Coordinator, NBHS Dean of Students, and more recently as the NBPS Director of Curriculum and Instruction.

While serving in the role of Director of Curriculum and Instruction, Mrs. Wootton was instrumental in obtaining and implementing the School Improvement Grant that was secured for NBIS prior to the pandemic. In her role as the NBIS Assistant Principal, Mrs. Wootton will utilize her leadership skills in connection with school improvement initiatives, while assuming responsibilities of the assistant principal position, including student discipline, staff supervision and evaluation, and day-to-day operations.
