I am delighted to introduce myself as the Principal of North Branford Intermediate School!  I share the community’s dedication to providing a learning environment that is welcoming, challenging, and meaningfully prepares students for continued academic success in high school and beyond.  

It’s been my privilege to spend over 20 years focused on Middle School education, first as a teacher and then as a principal. I believe in building an environment that focuses on supporting the whole child – academically, socially and emotionally.  Perhaps more important though, the last two decades have taught me deep respect and empathy for the challenges of being a middle school student - and also for the challenges (and joys!) that come with being the parent of a middle school student!  My oldest son will be in 10th grade, my middle son will be in 8th grade, and my youngest son just turned 2 years old, so I have a little time to prepare for his middle school experience!  

As principal, it’s important to me that everyone who enters our building feels welcome. Students win when we work together to pursue academic excellence in a safe and caring environment. I look forward to partnering with you in your child’s education.
